Dense fog has already begun forming across Texas this evening. As moisture continues to flow northward, we’ll see fog become more common early Saturday morning. Some locations will experience visibilities near zero within a few hours on either side of sunrise. Travel delays at multiple Texas airports are probable. Visibilities will begin improving a few hours after sunrise.
We should see most of the dense fog gone by lunchtime, though low clouds and mist will continue through the day. Thunderstorms are moving into Far West Texas (Borderland, El Paso) tonight and will continue moving east on Saturday. A line of thunderstorms will move east across the eastern two-thirds of Texas, beginning Saturday afternoon and concluding early Sunday afternoon. Some storms may be strong with hail, gusty winds, and heavy rainfall. Stay updated – download our mobile app!
How far south is the fog?
Anna Smith Fog may stay outside of Houston, but it’ll be in almost every region of Texas by morning. Visibilities will vary over shorter distances, though.

Somebody drop some pics because I never believe this. I’m used to fog so thick you can’t see more than 50 ft if you’re lucky. No body would drive, we busted out the horses to get off the mountain.

Being the $35m Dollars winner of the 2023 lotto max is a great gain. I vowed to help people in need of financial support, Being blessed with $35m dollars really meant a lot to me and I feel like I don’t deserve it as I know the real struggle people go through in a bid to make ends meet. Therefore I voluntarily decided to donate and touch the lives of men and women who have found themselves in financial crisis, to individuals around the world according to how God leads me to do. I try to reach people randomly from different sources and modes so as to touch lives from different parts of the world. Now I’m giving you an opportunity to share your pain with me drop a message for me and I’ll reply you. Respectfully:Rhonda melesku
Visiting family in Tyler and had to drive pretty slow going to the gas station around 10:00. They have a creek behind their house so it looks super creepy lol
I drove through some thick fog Friday from just before Memphis to 19 miles s of Childress.
Coming home from Ky to the Lubbock TX area. We had to stop and stay in El Reno, OK, due to the dense fog. Very dangerous! Local law enforcement strongly advised us not to drive further.
