Your Weekend Roundup!

A really short and sweet forecast update for the weekend since we thankfully don’t have a lot of weather going on at the moment!  Goldilocks weather is expected this weekend across the state with warm daytime highs, mild overnight lows and no rainfall expected!  Perfect conditions to kick off Spring Break for many schools and colleges across the state.  Sunny skies will prevail the entire weekend and winds will calm down a bit and generally remain light and variable for most today, then ramp up just a bit tomorrow.  The beach forecast is also shaping up quite nicely for all our spring breakers!   Early morning cloud cover across south Texas will begin to clear out later today.  Temps will be quite mild with highs in the 70s this weekend.  Rip Currents are likely all along the south Texas coast so be aware of that danger if you’re thinking of swimming or drifting too far from shore.  Overall though…a really perfect weekend for travel, gardening or any type of outdoor fun!

Weekend Temperature Outlook

Looking ahead to next week, we’ll see temps across the state warming to above normal levels peaking on Wednesday.  We will remain rain-free until we get into the latter part of the week with the chance for showers returning possibly as early at late Wednesday into Thursday.  Still too early to talk about impacts, but definitely keep that in mind if you’re vacationing next week or have outdoor plans.
