Your Weekend Roundup for April 10th and 11th

Good morning and happy weekend everyone!!!  After yesterday’s busy weather across the eastern half of the state, it will be nice to have a few days of peaceful and overall quiet weather before an unsettled pattern returns for the next work week.  Yesterday’s cold front is making its way through the Texas Coastal Bend region this morning and into South Texas.  Clouds and fog along the coast will clear out as drier air filters in behind the front bringing us plenty of sunshine for the weekend.  Highs today will be cooler than yesterday but still very pleasant for mid-Spring.  Lows Saturday night will be seasonal with a bit of a warming trend for Sunday with highs about 10 degrees warmer than Saturday.  Humidity levels will be low making it very pleasant for outdoor activities.

Weekend Temperature Forecast

A look ahead to next week we see an unsettled weather pattern setting in with the arrival of two weak cool fronts and daily chances of rainfall beginning on Tuesday.  Overall rainfall amounts do not look to impressive.  The threat of severe weather at this time appears to be low due to extensive cloud cover which will impede the ability to generate surface heating and instability next week.  As always, we’ll keep an eye on things and let you know if anything changes with the forecast.
