Tornado Warning: Montgomery, Walker Counties (SE TX) till 8AM

Tornado warning for northwestern Montgomery and southern Walker counties until 8 AM. Storm with increasing rotation and potential tornado just southeast of Montgomery, or 10 miles south of Pinehurst, moving northeast at 25 MPH. Northwestern Conroe, Willis, Panorama Village, New Waverly and Lake Conroe Dam are in this warning and should take tornado precautions. This storm will cross Interstate 45 between New Waverly and Panorama Village.

* Until 800 AM CDT.

* At 734 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Montgomery, or 10 miles north of Pinehurst, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Conroe Dam.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
