6:15pm Severe Weather Update

Lot’s of activity on the radar across far western Texas and parts of western north Texas this evening. Scattered strong to severe storm development will remain possible across far West Texas with hail, high winds and an isolated tornado threat…however, the greatest threat for seeing tornadic development remains to the north across the border in southeastern New Mexico.  For western north Texas, isolated to scattered severe storm development is possible over the next several hours.  Storm coverage will not be widespread, and Severe Thunderstorm Watches are not likely across this region, however, any cell that does develop will have the chance of becoming briefly severe with a large hail and damaging wind threat.
