Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for much of the Permian Basin, upper Trans Pecos, Guadalupe Mountains, southern Big Country and northern Concho Valley regions of west Texas this morning through early this afternoon.  This includes the cities of Sweetwater, Sterling City, Robert Lee, Bronte, Ballinger, Winters, Abilene, Clyde, Baird, Cross Plains, Coleman, Big Spring, Andrews, Midland/Odessa, Colorado City, Garden City, Monahans, Crane, McCamey, Rankin, Big Lake, Alpine, Fort Davis, Fort Stockton, Van Horn, Guadalupe Mountains National Park/Pine Springs.  Accumulating snow and ice are possible on bridges and overpasses along with hazardous driving conditions…especially for stretches of I-20 and I-10 closer to where they split between Van Horn and Pecos.   Take extra precautions driving in these areas this morning.  David will have an update out shortly with what to expect for the remainder of the morning hours and into the afternoon, so be sure to check back!  Drive safe everyone!!!
