Tornado Warning for western Dallas County until 9 PM. A possible tornado and very strong winds are located near Interstate 20 and Great Southwest Parkway – or just east of Highway 360. This storm is moving north/northeast at 35 MPH> Grand Prairie, Irving, and those located southeast of D/FW International should take shelter. Even if there is no tornado very strong winds are still expected. No travel recommended on I-30 between Highway 360 to Loop 12 – no travel on Highway 183 recommended between 360 and the old Cowboys Stadium.

Southeastern Tarrant County in north central Texas…
Northwestern Dallas County in north central Texas…

* Until 900 PM CST

* At 831 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located south of Grand Prairie moving north at 35 mph.
CASA radar indicates that this possible tornado will cross I-20
in Grand Prairie in the next few minutes.

HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
