A possible tornado is located near Morgan’s Point or just northeast of La Porte, moving northeast at 20 MPH. Baytown, Beach City, Cove and Morgan’s Point are in the path of this dangerous, rain-wrapped tornado. Damaging winds over 60 MPH are likely regardless of a tornado or not.

* Until 330 PM CDT.

* At 305 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Morgan’s Point, or near La Porte, moving northeast
at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
