Around 900-905PM a meteorite was observed by many across Oklahoma and at least the northern half of Texas. Some folks have also reported hearing a loud boom. It is worth noting that most meteorites do not impact Earth’s surface. The bright flame is usually the meteorite incinerating as it enters our atmosphere.

Many folks may end up finding a video of the meteorite on their dash-cams or doorbell cameras. For example, Juliah Bandy in Carthage (East Texas) has already uploaded her doorbell video to our Facebook group.
