Summer is here and that means the forecast will often look the same for days on end. By next week we will see a pattern chance resulting in the return of thunderstorms to parts of Texas. Until then and through this weekend continued hot and dry weather will be the main story. Temperatures this afternoon will climb into the upper 80s to 90s with south/southeast winds. An outside chance for a thunderstorm in the Panhandle and West Texas once again today but the vast majority will stay dry. Enjoy your Friday and try not to get a sunburn! After driving 25+ hours over the past 3 days I’ve ended up with a trucker’s tan.
