Freezing drizzle is ongoing (not shown by radar) across the Big Country, Hill Country, North Texas, Central Texas, and Northeast Texas.  We’ve seen multiple reports of slick bridges and overpasses as far south as the Austin metro and east into Tyler. Further north, freezing rain and sleet are increasing across North Texas and Central Texas. This does include the D/FW Metroplex. Increasing rates of ice accumulation are expected over the next several hours and past sunrise. We’ll likely see degradation in road conditions under the heavier bands of precipitation. Surface temperatures in the D/FW Metroplex are in the lower twenties. The freezing line extends east to Palestine, Tyler, to near Mount Pleasant.
