4 PM Sunday | #Grace is a rather pitiful excuse for a tropical cyclone this afternoon. It isn’t guaranteed it will survive its journey over the next couple of days.

However: If it tracks further south and misses Hispaniola/Cuba, it may be more organized as it enters the Gulf of Mexico on Thursday. The extended range forecast track remains quite uncertain, but *IF* it survives the next few days, Grace could be an issue for the Gulf Coast toward the end of the week.

It is peak hurricane season and situations like this one are not rare. Remain up to date with the forecast. This would be a good time to ensure the non-perishables in your hurricane supply kit are ready to go. Beyond that? We’re just keeping an eye out for now.
