Your allergies won’t like the weather coming to Texas

Who ordered more wind? Because that’s what will certainly help all of our allergies calm down. Yeah, that’s about as likely as my hairline growing back. The following two days will bring increased wind gusts to Texas. Today’s wind will generally be out of the south/southeast. A cool front coming in on Thursday will change the wind direction out of the northwest. Typically, one might be considered about a cold front in February. Worry not; tomorrow’s cold front will knock temperatures down from the 80s into the 60s. We’ll be back up into the 70s and 80s by the weekend.

Did you want rain? I hope the answer is no because it doesn’t happen through the weekend. Our next low chance for a thunderstorm will be Monday Night in Texoma and Northeast Texas. Otherwise, we may not see much (if anything) through the final days of February. Above-average temperatures will continue through early March. Our grass/wildland fire risk will continue to increase with above-average temperatures, gusty winds, and a dry airmass.
