Happy Saturday morning! Rain showers persist in Deep South Texas today, but will finally move on out of the state in the afternoon hours. Additional rainfall estimates should remain below an inch today. Some light snow flurries are falling this morning in the Texas Panhandle, but that wintry mischief will remain uneventful and peter out shortly.
Temperatures will reside in the low to mid 30s for highs today in West Texas and the Panhandle. Most of the state stays in the 40s, other than the Edwards Plateau to Laredo area getting into the 50s. A chilly night tonight expected for all of us with tomorrow’s morning lows in the upper teens in spots of the Panhandle. Near freezing San Antonio to DFW. Even Houston will flirt with the freezing mark. Upper 30s in South Texas. Tomorrow temperatures will recover into the 50s for virtually everybody in the state with much more clearing and sunshine.
