Better late than never, and my apologies for a slightly delayed Texas Weather Roundup. It’ll be a warm week by February standards across Texas, with highs in the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. We’ll remain dry through Tuesday afternoon, but sprinkles are possible Tuesday evening.

Isolated to scattered showers are possible on Wednesday and Thursday, though most folks will remain mostly dry. Precipitation totals will be light, with only a few hundredths of an inch of rain, up to one-quarter of an inch of rain expected – mainly in the eastern third of Texas. No severe thunderstorms are expected.

Our weather turns active this weekend with the possibility of strong thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and perhaps some winter mischief in the Panhandle and West Texas. Since we’re still five-plus days out, we’ll keep an eye on data and have more in tomorrow’s video.
