The Storm Prediction Center has indicated a new severe weather watch will likely be issued soon. This watch may include portions of North Texas, Central Texas, the Brazos Valley, and perhaps even Southeast Texas. A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is currently moving east across western North Texas and western Central Texas. Conditions ahead of the line are becoming more favourable for damaging wind gusts. In addition low-level wind fields are quite strong and may support the possibility of a couple brief tornadoes over the coming hours.
