#Iota is the first Category 5 #Hurricane of 2020. It is about to hit #Nicaragua right where Hurricane Eta (Category 4) hit about two weeks ago.

This is the first time a Greek alphabet named tropical cyclone reached Cat-5 status. This is the first time that we’ve reached the quantity of Atlantic tropical cyclones to earn the names Eta, Theta, and Iota.

There’s a 40% chance that we will also see a ‘Kappa’ form in the Caribbean in several days. Central America could hypothetically be in for a third round of big problems if Kappa does form and become a major Hurricane. Goodness…
