NHC and forecast algorithms believe TD-19 will become Sally by tonight as it tracks into the eastern Gulf of Mexico. A Cat-1 Hurricane is now expected to make landfall on Tuesday in S MS/AL, maybe Pensacola, FL. It could even be stronger as forecasters believe it will slow down some and borrow enough time in warm Gulf waters & favorable environment for marked strengthening.
