Future Hurricane Sally – MS/AL/FL Coast

NHC and forecast algorithms believe TD-19 will become Sally by tonight as it tracks into the eastern Gulf of Mexico. A Cat-1 Hurricane is now expected to make landfall on Tuesday in S MS/AL, maybe Pensacola, FL. It could even be stronger as forecasters believe it will slow down some and borrow enough time in warm Gulf waters & favorable environment for marked strengthening. HWRF simulated reflectivity for Tuesday at 7am shows an impressive 963mb hurricane nearing Pascagoula, MS. This should not be taken as verbatim since we are still 3 days away. The path and intensity may change over the next few days and we will continue to update y’all on the latest.
