Tornado Warning: Tyler, Newton, Jasper Counties till 445PM

Tornado Warning for eastern Tyler, Newton, and northeastern Jasper counties in Southeast Texas until 445PM. A likely tornado is located near Town Bluff, moving northeast at 30 MPH. This possible tornado will move very close to or just south of Jasper in about 20-30 minutes. Hail up to the size of golfballs is also expected. Jasper, Town Bluff, Jamestown, Roganville, Magnolia Springs, Harrisburg and Mt. Union are included in this warning.

* At 353 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Town Bluff, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Harrisburg and Mt. Union.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
