The Storm Prediction Center has issued a tornado watch for Northwest Texas and western North Texas until 9 PM. Severe thunderstorms are already underway in portions of Northwest Texas early this afternoon. Thunderstorm coverage is expected to increase with additional severe thunderstorms likely. The strongest storms are expected to be supercellular with giant hail up to the size of softballs, 75 MPH wind gusts, and tornadoes all possible.
