A Flash Flood EMERGENCY has been issued for Navarro County including the City of Corsicana. Five inches of rain has fallen within the past two hours and additional very heavy rain is expected. Significant and life-threatening flooding is expected throughout the county. Low-lying areas that typically flood should be prepared to evacuate if ordered. This is a rare and dangerous situation with major flooding expected. Be ready to move to higher ground if needed and do NOT drive into flood waters. Many roads are already flooded out with numerous high water rescues underway.

PRODUCING EXTREMELY HEAVY RAIN MOVING ACROSS NAVARRO COUNTY. OVER
5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE LAST TWO HOURS ACROSS PARTS OF
THE COUNTY. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN WILL ONLY EXACERBATE THIS
DANGEROUS FLOODING EVENT.
