Warmest Day of the Week; Another Cold Front Arrives Tonight

2015-01-05_23-37-17

Today will end up being the warmest we’ll see for a few days as another strong cold front will push into Texas this evening and overnight. High temperatures this afternoon will be several degrees warmer than on Monday with 40s in the Panhandle and Northwest Texas. We’ll see 50s from the D/FW Metroplex into Central and East Texas. A beautiful day is in store for South and Southeast Texas with high temperatures climbing into the lower 60s. Skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy across all but the Rio Grande Valley where skies will be mostly cloudy today. We may even see one or two light showers in the RGV today.

A strong cold front will push south into the Texas Panhandle this evening with strong north winds and frigid temperatures and wind chills. The front will continue to push south on Wednesday with warm temperatures south of it and cold temperatures and north winds behind it. I’m actually on a train this morning heading to pick up my new primary vehicle. I’m not looking forward to the cold weather since I’ll be installing gear over the next few weeks.
