Cool Winter's Night Ahead; Quickly Warms on Friday

Clear skies, low dewpoint temperatures, and light winds will allow temperatures to cool off quite nicely tonight as radiational cooling takes place. With dry weather in place temperatures are able to quickly rise during the day but likewise will also fall off at night. Here’s tonight’s low temperature forecast for several cities across the state. Skies will be mostly clear to clear tonight all across Texas.

Amarillo: 26F
Lubbock: 26F
Midland: 30F
El Paso: 30F
Alpine: 25F
San Angelo: 28F
Abilene 32F
Wichita Falls: 28F
Fort Worth: 31F
Dallas: 33F
Waco: 30F
Austin: 36F
San Antonio: 37F
Paris: 30F
Tyler: 32F
Lufkin: 32F
Houston: 37F
Laredo: 43F
Corpus Christi: 41F
Brownsville: 43F

Skies tomorrow will be mostly clear with the magical orb in the sky once again making an appearance. With dry air and gusty south/southwest winds temperatures will climb into the low to mid 60s statewide with an elevated threat for grass fires since most vegetation is dormant in the winter months.
