Tropical Storm Alberto will make landfall today several hundred miles south of the Texas/Mexico border. Even though the system’s center is well south of Texas, we’ve clearly felt its influence over the last two days. From significant tidal flooding to heavy rain and tornadoes, it’s been a rough go on the Texas Gulf Coast into South Texas.
Yet, we also acknowledge the southward jog in rain chances left many of you dry and ready to pitchfork the weather folk! Fair enough, though I doubt many of you will be happy to see next week’s temperature forecast for Texas.
A second tropical disturbance, which we have nicknamed blobs because Baldy has the humor of a five-year-old, could have some impact on the Texas Gulf Coast and South Texas over the weekend and into early next week.
