* AT 1121 PM CDT…EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED FLASH FLOODING
ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. BLANCO RIVER AT WIMBERLEY HAS RISEN TWELVE
IN THIRTY MINUTES AND AN ADDITIONAL RISE OF AT LEAST SIX FEET IS
EXPECTED IN THE NEXT FEW HOURS. NUMEROUS HOMES HAVE BEEN FLOODED
WITH HIGH WATER RESCUES ONGOING.

THIS IS A FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY FOR THE BLANCO RIVER BASIN AND
TRIBUTARIES IN SOUTHERN HAYS COUNTY INCLUDING WIMBERLEY.

FLEEING AN AREA SUBJECT TO FLOODING OR UNDER AN EVACUATION ORDER.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN
WATER BEGINS RISING.
