Blizzard Warning for the Texas Panhandle – Tonight into Tuesday Morning

In stark contrast to the imminent severe weather episode on the ‘warm side’ of the arriving storm system, we now have a blizzard warning on the ‘cold side’. A Blizzard Warning has been issued for a majority of the Texas Panhandle for Tonight and Tuesday morning. Moderate to heavy snow will begin this evening and continue through the morning hours. Damaging wind gusts up to 65 miles per hour will result in zero visibility, the possibility of power outages, and hazardous to impossible travel. Travel is strongly discouraged, especially since it may be impossible by late tonight, across all of the Texas Panhandle.
