Extreme Wildfire by Seiling, Oklahoma • “Rhea Fire” April 17th, 2018 {D-J/S}

DAY SIX of the Rhea Fire in NW Oklahoma on the most extreme day for wildfire potential in many years. Conditions almost couldn’t possibly be any worse. Containment levels dropped from 3% to 0% throughout the day. Multiple raging fireballs exploded from ignited cedar trees, tanker batteries, and even a silo. A couple structures we came across were also burning and falling apart. These clips were all filmed near US-270 & 281 about 7-12 miles southeast of Seiling, OK between 3pm and 12am.
