Strong Storms This Afternoon & Evening in Texas (1:15PM 11/20/25)

A very busy weather day across Texas. Storms are firing from the Panhandle down through the Big Country and Hill Country, with pockets of flash flooding ongoing. Some areas have seen storms sit over them for hours, leading to rapid rises on creeks and flooded roads.

Through this afternoon and evening, storms will shift east toward the I-35 corridor and later into East and Northeast Texas. A few storms could become strong to severe, but the main hazards continue to be lightning, heavy rain, and localized flash flooding.

More storms are expected late tonight into Friday morning for North Texas, Central Texas and the Hill Country.
