Showers and storms moving east into D/FW Metroplex with cold front

Storms moving into DFW from the west will produce brief heavy rain, gusty winds, and perhaps some pea (not pee, pea!) size hail. They are not severe at this time but will make a bit of noise as they quickly move east. Pretty loud storm moving into Sherman. It could have small hail and gusty winds. It’ll be visiting Bells in about ten minutes as it races east/northeast. After they’re gone, that’s it for storms! Cooler and drier air will filter in behind the storms as a cold front also moves through. The same goes for all of Northeast and East Texas later this morning. An isolated severe storm with hail and gusty winds remains possible, but by far, most activity will remain sub-severe through the morning hours.
