7:45AM Update: Line of showers/storms quickly moving into Northeast Texas

A line of showers and thunderstorms extends from Clarksville to Emory to Canton to Wortham to Mart to Marlin to Cameron. Generally, the most intense storms are from just south of Canton up to the Red River. They’re capable of producing quarter size hail and localized wind gusts to near 60 MPH. A nasty-looking storm is just south of Canton moving toward Lindale and the north side of Tyler. However, it is looking a bit weaker over the last few minutes. Once the line of storms passes through your location the threat for severe weather (and rain) will end and cooler temperatures will filter in. We’ll likely have to deal with the storms until they move east of Texas by lunch-time.
