A severe weather outbreak is expected to begin by the late-morning hours across East Texas. That’ll expand eastward into Louisiana and Mississippi by the afternoon and evening. All modes of severe weather are likely, including the possibility of a long-lived/significant tornado. This threat will be highest in our coverage area (#Texas) from 10 AM to 4 PM. The next severe weather outlook will be issued by 8 AM – and we may see a level 5 risk introduced in Louisiana. Stay weather aware today!
