A complicated winter weather event is becoming more likely across portions of Texoma, Big Country, Concho Valley, Hill Country, North Texas, and Central Texas Wednesday (January 2) through Thursday (January 3). A winter storm watch has been issued for regions where confidence is currently highest in significant accumulations of ice – resulting in hazardous travel conditions on Wednesday. Additional watches/warnings/advisories are likely to be issued on Tuesday for more locations as confidence on where winter weather will occur increases. Be sure to check back multiple times for new forecast updates tomorrow into mid-week.
