Cooler Today Across Northern Texas Today – Temps Rebound for the Weekend Ahead

A cold front has moved into the northern half of the state this morning and is expected to stall across central Texas before retreating back to the north by tomorrow.  Several record highs were broken yesterday…most notably at DFW Airport which reached a high of 94 degrees beating the all-time record high of 89 for any day in November since records have been kept.  Today’s front will drop temps back down to around normal for the northern half of the state today, but those temps will rebound by tomorrow.  Highs in the 80s for the northern half of the state, and mid 80s to low 90s for the southern half of the state are expected over the weekend before our next front arrives early next week. Rain chances will remain low to nil for the weekend with slight chances for showers today across parts of east and southeast Texas. No severe weather is expected. And don’t forget to “fall back” an hour on Sunday!
