A peak at rain totals from 8 AM Sunday through 8 AM Monday (July 3rd). Flash flooding was reported overnight in Paris, Texas where radar estimated 5+ inches of rain fell. Law enforcement reported a couple of high water rescues were performed in Paris along with road closures due to flooding. The heaviest rains have moved south of Paris, but residual runoff will likely contribute to residual high water through the day. Besides the localized flooding a few high wind reports were received from Gainesville east to Fannin.
