Tornado warning for northwestern Rusk and southern Gregg counties in Northeast Texas until 815PM. A severe storm capable of producing a tornado is over New London, or 8 miles southwest of Kilgore, moving northeast at 25 MPH. Large hail up to the size of golfballs is expected, and will likely impact Laird Hill and Kilgore by 8 PM. This possible tornado would likely cross Highway 259 about 4 to 6 miles south of the center of Kilgore. Please tune to local media for continuous tornado coverage.

* At 745 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over New London, or 8 miles southwest of Kilgore,
moving northeast at 20 mph.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
