Tranquil Weather This Weekend!

Good morning and happy Saturday!  Tranquil weather will be in place across the state this weekend with high pressure in place for several days into the coming week.  No rain or storms are in the forecast and we’ll have plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures.  Highs today, a little cooler than we typically see this time of the year, but very pleasant for outdoor activities.  Winds will stay light out of the north/northwest today as additional dry air filters in across the state.

Highs Today

Lows tonight will also be a few degrees below where they should be.  Winds will stay light and begin to shift around from the south.

Lows

Highs Sunday will be warmer and in the mid to upper 70s across much of the state.  Highs each day through the first several days of next week will continue to climb well above normal until our next cold front arrives mid-week.  With plenty of dry air still in place across the state, this next cold front arriving the middle of next week will likely not contain much threat for rain or storms.  Sunday Highs

The only hazard to speak of for the weekend will be elevated fire weather concerns across portions of the panhandle tomorrow.  Gusty southwest winds and low humidity will cause any fire that manages to ignite to spread quickly.  As always, please no outdoor burning and be mindful of anything that could cause a spark or flame.
