The strongest storms this evening may produce hail up to the size of ping-pong balls and localized damaging wind gusts over 60 MPH.

SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY MORNING FROM 745 PM
UNTIL 100 AM CDT.

* PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE…
ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE
ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE

SUMMARY…THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OVER THE SOUTHERN
EDWARDS PLATEAU AND MIDDLE RIO GRANDE VALLEY…WITH STORMS SPREADING
EASTWARD OVERNIGHT THROUGH SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS. THE STORM
ENVIRONMENT WILL BE SUPPORTIVE OF OCCASIONAL LARGE HAIL THE NEXT FEW
HOURS WITH EMBEDDED SUPERCELLS…AND EVENTUALLY TRANSITION TO MORE
OF AN ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND RISK AS STORMS GROW INTO CLUSTERS AND
LINE SEGMENTS.
