Dry and warm weather is forecast for the remainder of the work week across Texas. Over the next few days we’ll see afternoon temperatures climb back above-average. A relatively dry airmass will allow temperatures to quickly cool off at nights. The weather forecast will remain fairly tranquil with the exception of fire weather danger. The fire danger will be lower today as winds will be less potent. We’ll be watching West Texas on Wednesday for the possibility of critical fire danger. Otherwise the next chance for rain may arrive by Sunday Night into Monday. Until then we won’t have too much to talk about weather-wise. If you missed it I encourage you to read Jenny’s blog where she discusses the lack of a ‘El Nino Winter’ and what we can expect for the remainder of February.
