The National Weather Service in Houston has upgraded most of their counties to a Red Flag Warning. This warning runs through sunset. Due to very dry surface fuels and low humidity values the potential for wildfire spread will be high this afternoon. Winds will increase to 20-25 MPH this afternoon. Any wildfire that develops could quickly spread and require substantial resources to contain.
