Severe thunderstorm warning for Tarrant, Johnson, Dallas, Ellis Counties until 3 AM. A line of strong to severe thunderstorms extends from Grapevine to Arlington to Mansfield and Alvarado. This line is moving east at 40 MPH. Most folks will only experience 40 to 50 MPH but localized gusts of 60 to 70 MPH are possible. We’ll also be watching for any localized brief tornadoes but so far the line has behaved itself.
