A new tornado watch has been issued for the Big Country and North Texas. This watch includes Abilene, Stephenville, Sherman, Denton, Dallas, Waxahachie, and Waco. The watch generally runs along and west of Interstate 35 until 3 AM. A line of strong to severe storms will move from west to east across the watch area through 3 AM. The strongest parts of the line may produce damaging wind gusts up to 70 MPH. A few brief spinup tornadoes are also possible. This is no reason to have a panic attack or be worried. Simply have a way to receive weather warnings and have a safety plan in case you need to use it. We’ll keep you updated!
