Hondo, San ANtonio, Blanco, San Marcos, Austin, Bastrop, Gonzales, Giddings, College Station, Brenham, El Camp, and hallettsville are a few towns included. A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms – including tornadoes. Those in or near the watch area should stay alert and be ready to act if a tornado warning is issued for your area. Storm this morning are capable of producing brief tornadoes as they interact with a northward moving warm front.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 50 STATUTE
MILES EITHER SIDE OF A LINE FROM 10 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF
HONDO TEXAS TO 40 MILES SOUTH SOUTHEAST OF COLLEGE STATION TEXAS.
