Tornado Warning – Central Willacy County – South Texas until 6pm

A Tornado Warning has been issued for central Willacy county in deep south Texas until 6pm.  The tornado is radar-indicated at this time which means the storm may not actually be producing a tornado at this time; however, folks in the path of this storm should seek shelter immediately as the storm is capable of producing a tornado at any time.  High winds and frequent lightning and heavy downpours will be a certainty as this system moves southeast at around 5mph.

* AT 536 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS DANGEROUS
  STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR WILLAMAR...OR NEAR LYFORD...AND MOVING
  SOUTHEAST AT 5 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  WILLAMAR...PORFIRIO AND LOS COYOTES.
