Bill is gone but the flooding impacts on rivers and lakes will continue for the next week at least. Please keep that in mind this weekend if you’re planning on heading onto lakes that are in flood. Today will return Texas to a summer pattern with temperatures in the 90s and a few popcorn thunderstorms this afternoon. Overall this should be a great Friday for much of Texas if you’re into being outdoors in the summer months. We’ll see lows tonight in the 70s for most of Texas. Don’t forget your bug spray if you’re heading outdoors!
