Potential for rapid flash flooding issues from Austin north to Round Rock in Travis and Williamson counties. 2 to 4 inches of rain has fallen over the past two hours where soils are completely saturated from rain over the past week. Nearly all that rain is running off and will continue to cause significant flooding problems. Any additional rain will cause major issues not only with roads but streams and rivers. Do not drive into flood waters and be ready to act if we start seeing more serious flooding develop.
