An estimated 350 homes are underwater in Wimberley. Roads are washed out and bridges have been destroyed. The Blanco River crested at over 40 feet and obliterated the previous record of 33 feet. I’m afraid the first light of day will show a scene of devastation. The massive flood wave is now impacting San Marcos where the Blanco river is cresting near 43 feet. Interstate 35 is closed and flooded with water rescues and evacuations in progress.
