Severe Thunderstorm Warnings are in effect until 10:15PM for southwestern Dallas, northwestern Ellis, northeastern Johnson and southeastern Tarrant counties.  A line of severe storms is moving southeast across the southern portions of the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex at this time.  Main threats will be high winds (70mph), quarter size hail and torrential rain.  Flash flooding will be a concern as these storms track southeast at around 20mph.  A brief tornado spin-up is also possible.   If you don’t have to be out and about, stay put until the storms pass.
