Severe Thunderstorm WATCHes are out for much of west central and southwest Texas and also north central Texas.  A Tornado WATCH is in effect for a small portion of northwest Texas and the far eastern Texas Panhandle.  Scattered storm development ongoing across parts of central and western north Texas will continue to move east towards the I-35 corridor.  Main threats will be large hail…some very large 2+ inches in diameter, damaging winds and frequent lightning.  A small risk of an isolated tornado is possible within the (red) tornado watch area.  Individual cells within the lines of storms are moving to the northeast…the line itself is migrating eastward.  Impacts are expected from the Dallas/Ft. Worth down to Waco and the Austin/San Antonio area within the next several hours.  Folks with outdoor activities planned this evening will need to keep an eye on the weather this evening and be prepared to seek shelter should threatening weather approach.
