A Severe Thunderstorm WATCH has been issued for parts of north central Texas, including the western portion of the DFW metro area, until 4am tomorrow morning.  This includes the following counties:  Bosque, Dallas, Denton, Eastland, Ellis, Erath, Hill, Hood, Jack, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Stephens, Tarrant, Wise and Young.   Damaging winds will be the primary threat along with a few episodes of large hail greater than 2 inches.  As mentioned in our earlier update, the tornado threat is expected to diminish over the next couple of hours.  Have a way to receive weather warnings overnight should any threatening weather approach your location.

   * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
     NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS

   * EFFECTIVE THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING FROM 1025
     PM UNTIL 400 AM CDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     ISOLATED VERY LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE

   SUMMARY...CLUSTER OF SUPERCELLS IN NW TX WILL LIKELY MERGE INTO A
   SMALL MCS AND MOVE ESEWD FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS...WITH AN
   ATTENDANT RISK FOR LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.

   THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 45
   STATUTE MILES NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 50 MILES WEST
   NORTHWEST OF MINERAL WELLS TEXAS TO 35 MILES SOUTH SOUTHEAST OF
