8:10pm Radar Update – North and Central Texas

A line of severe storms continues to slowly move east through the DFW metroplex.  Quarter size hail is possible as well as strong winds in excess of 60mph.  Heavy rain and flash flooding will be likely as this line is only moving about 25mph.  If you don’t have to be anywhere, just stay home and avoid getting caught out in this batch of heavy storms.  Further south along I-35, a squall line carrying winds between 30 to 40mph mph is approaching areas between Waco and Austin.  Brief heavy rains, wind gusts and small hail are likely with this portion of the line as we go through the evening.
